Actor Mohanlal will inaugurate the International Film Festival (Regional IFFK) organized by the Kerala State Film Academy in Kochi from April 1 to 5.
Delegate registration continues at https://registration.iffk.in/ Registration can be done directly through the Delegate Cell set up at Saritha Theater. The delegate fee is Rs 250 for students and Rs 500 for general category. Those who work as assistants and associates in the film industry through the category of Film Associates can register a delegate fee touch at the same rate as students.
Culture Minister Saji Cherian will preside over the function on April 1 at 9 am at the Saritha Theater. Prominent writer NS Madhavan will be the chief guest at the function.
TJ Vinod MLA will release the festival handbook. Kochi Mayor M. Anil Kumar will release the festival bulletin. Joshi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee, Ranjith, Chairman of Chalachithra Academy, C. Ajoy, Secretary, Prem Kumar, Vice Chairman and Beenapole, Artistic Director will be present. After the ceremony, Rehana, a joint venture between Bangladesh, Singapore and Qatar, will be screened as the inaugural film.
The fair, which will be held at Saritha, Savita and Kavitha theaters, will screen over 70 notable films at the 26th IFFK. 'Clara Zola' won gold, 'Koozhangal' won three awards including Audience Pleasure, 'Camila Comes Out Tonight' won Best Director, The Netpac Award winning, 'Habitat', 'Nishidho' and 'Restoration of Kummati' All the important pictures of IFFK are included in the fair.
As part of the fair, an exhibition of photographic photographs of Shiva, the early press photographer and still photographer of 'Chemmeen', and a digital display of pages from Anoop Ramakrishnan's fellowship essay on the history of title design in Malayalam cinema will be organized.
The fair will have an open forum, seminars and a symposium.
