The last date for submitting films to the FEFKA Short Film Festival — which offers the biggest cash awards in India — has been extended until May 31, considering the request of short filmmakers.
In the fourth FEFKA Short Film Festival, organized by the FEFKA Directors’ Union (the association of Malayalam film directors), the awards are as follows:
- Best Film: ₹1.5 lakh
- Second Best Film: ₹1 lakh
- Third Best Film: ₹50,000
Along with a trophy and certificate of recognition.
More than 50 directors will watch and evaluate your films, and the winners will be honored at a star-studded award ceremony. All participating films will receive a FEFSKA Participation Certificate.
Additional awards include:
- Best Director: ₹10,000
- Best Screenplay, Cinematographer, Editor, Background Music Composer, Art Director, Costume Designer, Makeup Artist, Sound Designer, VFX Artist, Actress, Actor, and Child Artist: ₹5,000 each, along with a plaque and certificate of recognition.
Awards will be given in 6 categories:
- General Category
- Campus Film
- Expat (Pravasi) Film
- AI Film
- Animation Films
- FEFKA Directors’ Union Members Category.
