Thiruvananthapuram: Fefka's congratulations to director, writer and actor Sri Madhupal .. !! Mr. GS Vijayan, General Secretary, FEFCA Directors' Union visited the office and presented flowers to Mr. Madhupal and wished him success in his new mission as the Chairman of the Kerala State Cultural Welfare Fund Board. Chalachithra Academy Vice Chairman Shri Premkumar, Director Shibu Gangadharan and Production Controller Jeevan were present.
The artists, who have gone through many life trials, have on many occasions received the inward support, care and support of the Cultural Welfare Board. I extend all support and best wishes to Mr. Madhupal for discharging his new responsibilities with greater vigor and care.

Filmmakers Shibu Chakraborty, Ouseppachan Valakuzhi, Baijuraj Chekavar, Jyothi Narayanan, Shine Antony and Vipin Ameya were present. The Regional Festival will be held in Ernakulam from April 1 to 5. Admission is Rs.500 for general public and Rs.250 for students. Chalachithra Academy Chairman Ranjith said that the exemption will be available to assistant and associate members working in the field of cinema.

മികച്ച സഹനടിക്കുള്ള ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരം രണ്ടുവട്ടവും സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരം നാലുവട്ടവും ലഭിച്ചു. കേരള സംഗീത നാടക അക്കാദമിയുടെ ചെയർപഴ്സനായിരുന്നു. നാടകത്തിലൂടെ അഭിനയരംഗത്തെത്തിയ ലളിത മലയാളത്തിലും തമിഴിലുമായി അഞ്ഞൂറ്റിയൻപതിലേറെ ചിത്രങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
ആലപ്പുഴ ജില്ലയിലെ കായംകുളത്തിനടുത്ത് രാമപുരത്ത് 1947 ഫെബ്രുവരി 25 നായിരുന്നു മഹേശ്വരിയമ്മ എന്ന ലളിത ജനിച്ചത്. പിതാവ് കെ. അനന്തൻ നായർ, അമ്മ ഭാർഗവിയമ്മ. നാലു സഹോദരങ്ങൾ. ഫൊട്ടോഗ്രഫറായിരുന്നു അച്ഛൻ. രാമപുരം ഗവൺമെന്റ് ഗേൾസ് സ്കൂൾ, ചങ്ങനാശേരി വാര്യത്ത് സ്കൂൾ, പുഴവാത് സർക്കാർ സ്കൂൾ എന്നിവിടങ്ങളിലാിരുന്നു പഠനം. കുട്ടിക്കാലത്തുതന്നെ നൃത്തപഠനം തുടങ്ങിയിരുന്നു. കലോൽസവങ്ങളിൽ സമ്മാനം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഏഴാം ക്ലാസിൽ പഠിക്കുമ്പോൾ കൊല്ലത്ത് കലാമണ്ഡലം രാമചന്ദ്രന്റെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഡാൻസ് അക്കാദമിയിൽ നൃത്തപഠനത്തിനായി ചേർന്നു. അതോടെ സ്കൂൾ വിദ്യാഭ്യാസം മുടങ്ങി.
ചങ്ങനാശേരി ഗീഥാ ആർട്സ് ക്ലബിന്റെ ബലി എന്ന നാടകത്തിലൂടെയാണ് നാടകരംഗത്ത് അരങ്ങേറിയത്. ഗീഥയിലും എസ്എൽ പുരം സദാനന്ദന്റെ പ്രതിഭാ ആർട്സ് ട്രൂപ്പിലും പ്രവർത്തിച്ച ശേഷമാണ് കെപിഎസിയിലെത്തിയത്. ആദ്യകാലത്ത് അവിടെ ഗായികയായിരുന്നു. മൂലധനം, നിങ്ങളെന്നെ കമ്യൂണിസ്റ്റാക്കി തുടങ്ങിയ നാടകങ്ങളിൽ പാടി. പിന്നീട് സ്വയംവരം, അനുഭവങ്ങൾ പാളിച്ചകൾ, കൂട്ടുകുടുംബം, ശരശയ്യ, തുലാഭാരം തുടങ്ങിയ പ്രശസ്തമായ നാടകങ്ങളിൽ അഭിനയിച്ചു. അക്കാലത്ത് തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസിയാണ് ലളിത എന്നു പേരിട്ടത്.
1970 ൽ ഉദയായുടെ കൂട്ടുകുടുംബം എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലൂടെയായിരുന്നു സിനിമയിലെ അരങ്ങേറ്റം. കെപിഎസിയുടെ നാടകത്തിന്റെ ചലച്ചിത്രാവിഷ്കാരത്തിൽ, നാടകത്തിലെ അതേ കഥാപാത്രം തന്നെയായിരുന്നു ലളിതയ്ക്ക്. കെ.എസ് സേതുമാധവനായിരുന്നു സംവിധായകൻ. അതിനു ശേഷം സിനിമയിൽ സജീവമായി. 1978 ൽ ഭരതനെ വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.
ഭരതൻ ചിത്രമായ അമരത്തിലെ കഥാപാത്രത്തിന് 1991 ലും ജയരാജ് ചിത്രം ശാന്തത്തിലെ അഭിനയത്തിന് 2000 ലും മികച്ച സഹനടിക്കുള്ള ദേശീയ ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. 1975 (നീലപ്പൊന്മാൻ), 1978 (ആരവം), 1990 (അമരം), 1991 (കടിഞ്ഞൂൽ കല്യാണം, ഗോഡ്ഫാദർ, സന്ദേശം) എന്നീ വർഷങ്ങളിൽ മികച്ച സഹനടിക്കുള്ള സംസ്ഥാന ചലച്ചിത്ര പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു. ടെലിവിഷൻ പരമ്പരകളിലും അഭിനിയിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.
നീലപൊന്മാൻ, സ്വയംവരം, അനുഭവങ്ങൾ പാളിച്ചകൾ, കൊടിയേറ്റം, അമരം, ശാന്തം, ഗോഡ്ഫാദർ, സന്ദേശം, മീനമാസത്തിലെ സൂര്യൻ, വീണ്ടും ചില വീട്ടുകാര്യങ്ങൾ, സ്ഫടികം, കാട്ടുകുതിര, കനൽക്കാറ്റ്, വിയറ്റ്നാം കോളനി, മണിച്ചിത്രത്താഴ്, വെങ്കലം തുടങ്ങിയവയാണ് പ്രധാന ചിത്രങ്ങൾ.
അടൂർ ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന്റെ മതിലുകളിൽ ശബ്ദസാന്നിധ്യമായി എത്തിയതും ശ്രദ്ധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. ‘കഥ തുടരും’ എന്ന ആത്മകഥയെഴുതിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. അതിനു ചെറുകാട് പുരസ്കാരം ലഭിച്ചു.
